The Steve Tromans Bossa Nova Quartet presents a brand new project in Tromans’ output.

Featuring classic bossa nova songs given an update for the 21st century, alongside Tromans on piano will be young electric bass sensation Ben Weaver (hugely influenced by Jaco Pastorius and currently making waves on the progressive rock scene with his band Kasperia), the great Steve Palmer on drums (well known to aficionados on the jazz scene in Birmingham
and beyond), and bossa nova enthusiast (and co-promoter of the Outside the Box sessions in Stourbridge alongside Tromans) Dave Nock on vocals.

Fans of the bossa nova sound will delight in the beautiful melodies, harmonies, and rhythms of the South American style, while modern jazz fans will not be disappointed with the improvised journeys taken by these four musicians in quartet.
