▪️︎ CHRIS BOWDEN~Sax

▪️︎ A British alto saxophonist, composer and arranger, working across a variety of genres from acoustic jazz to hip hop and drum and bass.

Chris released the album Time Capsule on Soul Jazz Records in the 1990s and Slightly Askew on Ninja Tune in the early 2000s. He has worked with Jules Buckley of the Metropole Orkest, Simon Philips, Flora Purim and Airto Moreira, was a member of The Herbaliser band and collaborated extensively with 4 Hero.
In the last few years, he has released two albums, Unlikely Being and The Hypnos Files.

He has made numerous recordings including records with Jelissa Anderson, Jessica Lauren, The Heritage Orchestra, Moses Molelekwa, K Creative and Palm Skin Productions.

Bryan’s musical journey is a tapestry of diverse collaborations and artistic pursuits. As a sought-after session musician, he has lent his talents to some of the biggest names and acclaimed artists across various genres. From The Brand New Heavies, Us3, Ben E King, Tony Christie, Sigala, Ella Eyre, Alisha Dixon to featured soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra & Big Band Małopolski (Krakow), performing under his own name at jazz clubs and festivals around the globe and with renowned jazz musicians and bands through-out the UK and Internationally.
His remarkable versatility allows him to seamlessly transition between musical styles, from jazz and funk to soul, pop, and beyond.
Bryan sound appears on countless records, TV adverts and scores. He was winner of Cheltenham Jazz ‘Jerwood Rising Star’ and his own groups have won awards and he has curated jazz festivals and clubs.
Bryan is not only a great performer of the jazz standards repetoire but an artist who pushes the boundaries writing and performing original works with his various line-ups.

▪️︎ MILES LEVIN~Drums
Simply one of the finest jazz drummers in the whole of the UK, respected and admired nationally. He has performed all over the UK and internationally with many of the UK’s leading artists including, Alan Skidmore, Art Themen, Paul Dunmall (a long time associate of his father) & Simon Spillett.
Miles studied at the Guildhall, and is the son of the late the great outstanding drummer, Tony Levin, who played regularly with Tubby Hayes.
He has performed at numerous music festivals including the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Glastonbury, Marlborough and the London Jazz Festival. Live performances include prestigious venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, the 606 Club in London and the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. He has also worked as a musician internationally in the United States and Europe & led his own quintet.

He has recently been involved in projects and recordings with the Steve Melling Trio, Steve Tromans ‘Howl’, the Surinder Sandhu Band ‘The Fictionist’ performing on BBC Radio and the John Coltrane 52nd Anniversary Memorial Concert.

▪️︎ SIMON SMITH~Bass
One of the UK’s in demand bassists. He has worked extensively as a freelance musician throughout the UK, Europe and the US, including a five year stint based in Los Angeles. Simon’s recording credits include Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, Wilson Phillips, Glen Ballard and Dave Stewart. He has worked in live touring bands of artists as diverse as Idina Menzel, Linda Perry, Carl Barât and Carina Round performing at venues and events including Lincoln Center (New York), Ambassadors Theatre, Glastonbury Festival, South by Southwest and La Bâtie Festival (Geneva) amongst many others.

is a professional musician who has been active as composer and pianist/bandleader since the 1990s, working predominantly in the field of improvising music. He has given over 6,000 performances at a variety of events ranging from international festivals to the intimacy of club spaces, and composed over 300 original works.
